I’m not doing it for you. I’m doing it for me.

It was a little upsetting today to see that some of the people that mean the very most to me in my life don’t think I have a shot in hell of reaching this goal.  Or, they just think it’s plain stupid.  Well here’s what I have to say to them:  I set a goal and I am going to reach it.  I don’t care if you’re not going to be their cheering for me.  I don’t care if you don’t agree with my choice.  And I don’t care whether or not you think I can do it.  Watch me.  I will make you eat your words.

No way am I putting myself out there for the world to see just to set myself up for ultimate failure.  What would be the point in that?

On the upside, although my day started off on a negative note with all the nay-sayers, there are some people who do believe in me and respect me for going for it.  I hope I can categorize you in that group!

I had an awesome full-body workout today with Chris Stuff at Body Blocks that I would love to share with you.  However it was so involved I wouldn’t really know how to lay it out.  So, sorry but this one goes untold.

Unfortunately I think it is going to take my body a few days to acclimate to my new eating style.  I had a good deal of energy by time I hit the gym after work, but I have been getting these raging headaches!  Not really sure if they are linked.  Maybe the total removal of sugar from my diet?  Hopefully it gets better over the next few days.
