Day 8…Check!

Everything went mostly according to plan…

I got in all 3 of my workouts.  My leg workout was complete with 4 rounds of leg extensions & hamstring curls then 3 rounds of split squats & deadlifts into my cardio.  My personal training session with Paul was a Chest/Tri day…with some added stretching (my legs have been so tight!).  Workout 3 was completed as planned with some core thrown in there 🙂

My diet went well today.  There was the addition of a makeshift oatmeal & protein pancake.  I realized that I was actually allowed carbs today, but had no sweet potato left :0

I was so hungry I really didn’t want to run to the grocery store and the only other carby thing I own right now would be my oatmeal.  So I threw a 1/4 cup of oats, 1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder, 2 egg whites and a little water into the blender.  That pasty goodness went into my omelet pan and was cooked up like a good old fashioned pancake!  I love pancakes… It was a little dry and probably a little more than I’m supposed to have on my diet but I enjoyed it.  Plus I burned off over 2,000 calories today!

I’m going to count today as a win.  See you tomorrow.
