20 Weeks and Counting

Yesterday was the start of my 20 week Figure training period, so I can hop on stage at the end of September for the INBF Natural Mania – WNBF Pro-Qualifier. This year I’m hoping to win my pro card.

20 weeks is a bit longer than the typical training period, but I’m hoping that slow and steady will win the race. It’s going to be quite the experiment since I am responsible for my own diet and workout regimens.

I started off my week with some high intensity cardio intervals and chest/tri circuits.

Round 1:
10mins intervals jog 6.0 & sprint 7.5
3 sets- 15 cable chest fly-15 cable chest press-15 push-ups-15 tricep push down

Round 2:
10 mins intervals jog 6.0 & sprint 7.5
3 sets-15 decline bench (45lb bar)-15 push-ups-15 overhead tricep extension

Round 3:
10 mins intervals jog 6.0 & sprint 7.5
5 sets-10 incline push-ups-10 tricep dips

The hardest part about yesterday was the combination of a lingering migraine and being overly full from the start of my diet.

This Fall will bring new trophies (I hope at least) and I will finally be moving into a new apartment!
